Anne Brorhilker, a jurist and current managing director of the financial reform movement Finanzwende, believes the legal system’s lenient treatment of tax evasion compared to general fraud is implausible. She explains that her understanding of justice is rooted in the principle that all individuals should be equal before the law, regardless of their background or social status.
